Yoga is for anyone regardless of age, body shape, balance and flexibility. My sessions are a Hatha style yoga based upon B.K.S. Iyengar teachings which focus on precise body alignment and engagement of muscles to create stability, strength and flexibility.

Asanas (postures) are typically held longer and props (blocks, straps, blankets and chairs) are used to meet your body where it is to experience the pose.
With regular practice, you can gain a better understanding of your own body.

This precise alignment through muscle engagement helps you to alleviate physical pain and recover from injuries or chronic problem areas (such as hips, shoulders, back and knees).
